Frequently Asked Questions

Turnaround time for all items is up to 4 weeks. This is the time it takes to be made and dispatched. Postage time is then on top of this timeframe. Please message if you need an order sooner than the time shown BEFORE ordering. Do not put in an order and leave a note saying you need it sooner as this may not be possible. Usually I am unlikely to have availability to rush orders and have them made before the 4 week mark, but you’re always welcome to message and check incase. International customers may use the DHL Express listing to speed up postage times, UK customers cannot upgrade as postage is already the fastest possible option. Please note I ship worldwide with the exception of Germany. Due to new shipping rules I cannot ship any order to Germany. 

Yes you can request a custom order just message me! In some cases I may be fully booked for custom orders. If you just want to adjust a current listing ever so slightly I can do this too.

All listings have sizing information shown in the descriptions. I do not currently offer a made to measure service. I also do not make children’s or mens costumes.

I am the only member of staff running the shop, however if you need multiple items, please do get in touch to see if I have availability. Please note NO discount will be offered for bulk orders. Each item will be the same price.

All items are handmade so although they are made to be durable, should be treated with care. To wash please take care with bright and dark colours.

Stilt covers/trousers/ are suggested to hand wash only if needed, however I would suggest cleaning dirty spots with a damp sponge or using a vanish bar to remove stains.

Costumes have care instructions written in the listing. Care instructions will also be sent in your parcel. Please pay attention to them! I can take no responsibility for damages that occur due to improper care. 

With time and use some wear can occur due to the nature of performance. If you would like information on how to best upkeep your costumes please contact me.

I do not offer a gift wrapping service. Orders are all carefully packaged in recyclable packaging. Please take the time to recycle your packaging if you are able. 

I do not offer alterations on any costumes once made. These can be done for you by a local tailor. Please do contact me if there is any issue though.

Returns and Exchanges

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery after contacting me to confirm the return. Items must be returned in a new and unworn condition. Buyer is responsible for return postage costs and any loss in value if an item isn’t returned in its original condition. Returns must be posted using a tracked service. Custom orders which have been designed for you are not eligible for returns. Items purchased at sale price are also not eligible for returns.

I am unable to offer immediate exchanges as all items are made to order, so I do not hold any stock. Exchanges may be available depending on my availability but this cannot be guranteed. In the event you would like an exchange contact me to discuss the best course of action for you. 


Order cancellations are not accepted. Please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Customs and Import Taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. These are unfortunately out of my control, buyers must be fully aware if ordering from outside the UK, that their order may be subject to a customs charge. I cannot mark sales as gifts and items will not be eligible for returns due to custom or import tax. I am also not responsible for delays due to customs or postal operators.

Royal Mail Special Delivery – aims to deliver the next working day before 1pm. 

International Customers

Royal Mail International tracked shipping times are – Europe delivery aim: 3-5 working days · Worldwide delivery aim: 5-7 working days

International Customers can upgrade to DHL express
DHL Express shipping offers express delivery by the end of the next possible working day.
